Founded in 2005, Ravi Children’s Hospital LLP operates from a 25,000 sq. ft. facility in New Town, Mahabubnagar. Established by Dr. V. Shekar, MD (Pediatrics), a Trusted Pediatric Healthcare distinguished graduate of Gandhi Medical College, the hospital was built with a vision to provide quality pediatric inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) services. Over the years, the hospital has extended its services to patients from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, catering to the needs of the poor and underserved in the Mahabubnagar region.
From its inception, the hospital has offered advanced NICU and PICU services under the expert supervision of Dr. Shekar and his dedicated team. Equipped with over 63 advanced devices, including ventilators, AirO2 machines, syringe pumps, infusion pumps, and humidifiers, the hospital has earned a reputation for excellence.
In 2016, the number of NICU and PICU beds was increased to meet growing demand, achieving a 100% success rate in critical care within Mahabubnagar district. Today, the hospital operates as a registered 70-bed facility, providing employment to over 120 individuals. Neonatal intensive care is managed by a team of experienced doctors, led by Dr. Praman Kushwah, MD (Pediatrics), DrNB (Neonatology).
As part of its social responsibility, the hospital organizes free medical camps for children every month. In 2018 alone, over 4,000 children received free pediatric care and medicines through 15 medical camps. Additionally, the hospital partnered with the YUVA program, an initiative by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Telangana, to educate 3,100 adolescent girls.
But we are not satisfied with the provided services because people needs some more important medical services which are not available in this town, for such kind of services people going to other cities, that is very expensive and difficult also. Then we started Endocrinology, Neurology, Cardiology, Early Intervention, Physiotherapy and audiology & Speech therapy departments.
And as part of “save girl child program” we are providing more exemptions to the girl patients i.e. free OP , more discount on billing of pharmacy, lab and IP services.
we are empaneled with Arogya badhratha, star health insurance, TSspdcl, Transco and many insurance companies to provide cashless treatment.
